I enjoy painting whimsical fantasy scenes and often give them comically absurd narratives. Each painting involves multiple layers of slow-drying acrylic paint on canvas or on wood panels where exposed wood can be turned into part of the scene. Also part of the artistic process is cutting, sanding, and staining the wood panels to not only paint on but also to mount my prints on. Lastly, I thoroughly enjoy connecting with others to learn about their perspectives or approaches to art or to help them realize their potential as artists.
