For the last three years our Capital Arts Project has provided free original artworks for the offices of state legislators during the legislative session to brighten their office space and at the same time, support veteran artists in our community.
VAC artists include nationally known, award-winning professional artists as well as regional and locally collected Veteran artists.
The Veterans Arts Council (VAC) showcases and mentors Veteran artists working in any medium from all generations and service backgrounds. We also work with a select number of VAC devoted civilian artists as part of our commitment to community outreach. Our Veterans Art Gallery at VFW Post 1 is located in the Denver Art District on Santa Fe. We also exhibit member artwork at the VA Regional Hospital and many other Denver-metro locations.
