VAC Writing Program
Writer's workshop
The VAC presents a writer's workshop ever third Friday at 7 PM at VFW POST 1 located at 841 Santa Fe, Denver. The writers workshop is lead by Joe Hickman, with the intent of providing a safe and inviting place for people to share their writing, get mentorship on how to get published, and have fun expressing themselves though writing.
Our Impact
The VAC has a number of authors who have published books, magazine articles, and poetry. The authors share their experiences during the writers workshop. Joe also have a monthly theme for the workshops, providing each person a chance to share their perspective on a specific topic each month, along with just sharing what they are currently working on.
